Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global IT service provider, announced a new agreement with US-based Xerox on Friday. This deal enhances the strategic partnership between the two companies, allowing TCS to develop a cloud-native, AI-driven digital platform for Xerox. Additionally, TCS will establish a cloud-first operating model to help transform Xerox’s business processes and promote sustainable growth. The new platform will feature generative AI capabilities that can be integrated into Xerox’s workflows.

In their press release, TCS detailed that the agreement aims to deliver a comprehensive transformation program to accelerate Xerox’s shift to a “simplified, services-led, software-enabled organization.” Currently, Xerox is moving towards a digital-first operation model to improve the efficiency of its enterprise-based functions.

TCS will create a new agile, cloud-first operating model by leveraging its existing enterprise solutions, such as TCS Crystallus™ and Cognitive Business Operations. The platform will also incorporate advanced AI capabilities from AI Cloud.
